I was hoping if you could give me an advise regarding this issue with Motortrade.
I got my bike last Dec. 30, 2015. They made me sign all of these waivers about them not responsible for impound of vehicle due to non-registration, that I understood that the registration process will take a long time, etc.
I made a follow-up a few weeks ago and my OR CR was still unavailable. Knowing that I signed that waiver, I pleaded with them if they can check the current status of my registration as it had already been 4 months already. We reached an arrangement that they will check the papers at their main office, and if it was still there, they will pull it out and I will process the registration myself. If it is already in LTO, they will present me with a signed document stating that the papers is currently in LTO already for processing. If it is already finished, then they will get the papers.
They got back to me with a photocopied computer screen shot of my name in a list and they explained that the papers were already at LTO last March 13 (3 months after purchasing my bike!!!!!). I asked them if they can produce a signed letter from LTO stating that my unit's papers are in LTO already being processed so I have something to show the police other than the certificate from the dealer, and they said that they can only provide me with the certificate that they usually provide to customers whose bikes are still being registered.
I need to use my bike since I am already working in a different location, but I need a certification from LTO that my bike is still under registration process.
Do you have any suggestions, comments, or alternatives to get me a certificate from LTO?
