Issue with CVT Belt on Rusi 125 Scooter

I've been posting here, but need some advice.

I've had a Rusi 125 Scooter for about 3 years now, and it's been running pretty good...but...

1. I had gotten around 12,000 km on the scooter and decided to change the CVT belt. I started hearing noise in the transmission area and thought it was time before the fan belt broke, so I took it to Rusi. They looked at it and suggested I change the clutch...
